The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar Part 1

The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar  Part 1

Way Back during 1990 when I hardly understand what was cricket and its formats. I always used to hear one name the most "Sachin Tendulkar". People use to say "Agar aaj Sachin chal padaa to sabh ko dhoo dega" means if Sachin performed today no one can stop him.

Why Sachin tendulkar is the God of Cricket- Part 1

My personal understanding started with this name "Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar". The first-ever cricket match which i watched was in the age of 13 in 1996 Wills World Cup India vs Kenya. It was held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on 18th February 1996. Kenya batted first and Steve Tikolo hit massive 65 runs in 83 bowls, and Yes during 90's this a good strike rate of 78.31.

                                                Sachin Tendulkar latest news

Sachin bowled 5 over no maiden 26 runs and no wicket as well. He helped to finish Manoj Prabhakar's spell. Literally i was very disappointed with Sachin's bowling figures as know you it my first ever cricket match to understand what was cricket all about. For me, Sachin was a bowler so he didn't perform well.  Then my elder brother explained to me that me Sachin is a batsman and he will do the opening for their run chase. Frankly speaking i was very happy to hear that because i was very curious that why was Sachin so famous among all the cricket fans. Kenya made 199 runs of the loss of 6 wickets in their 50 over quota.
Why Sachin tendulkar is the God of Cricket- Part 1

It has been always a pressure for a team when they are playing their first match in such a big tournament like the World Cup. India was also a in bit pressure as well. Indian Opener was Mr. Cool Ajay Jadeja and followed by Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. They contributed 163 runs for the opening partnership. Jadeja got out of the game after he made 53 runs in 85 balls. Sachin made unbeaten 127 runs in 138 balls 15 fours and 1 huge six. India's winning score was 203 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and Master blaster's contribution was 127 out of 203 means 62.57% runs. That was a Masterpiece inning and one of my all-time favorite because the inning was steady and sharp.

We will see you soon with the second part of " The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar "

The Sachin Tendulkar-Virat Kohli debate simply refuses to die down. After a host of former and current cricketers, the latest lot of drawing parallel between the two is that of umpires. Weighing on the similarities between the two batsmen, former ICC umpire Ian Gould has said Kohli’s batting reminds him of his early days, and explains the India captain’s similarity with the great Tendulkar.

Gould said "Virat is a funny man. Yeah, he batted like me a couple of times. I had to tell him off for slogging it. He is a charmer," Gould told ESPNCricinfo in an interview. "He is one of those guys who is got, a bit like Sachin Tendulkar, the whole of India on his back, but you wouldn't know. You could walk into a restaurant and sit and chat with him for hours. He is a very worldly boy. When you look at Virat, you’re thinking male model, pin-up boy, but he knows about the game inside out, the past, history. Lovely guy.”

Indian bowlers doing great job for India. WI top order again collapse under 100 score

India is in strong position to enter into semi final

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's batting approach and position in the middle order will be the team management's primary concern when India take on an ousted-yet-dangerous West Indies in the sixth league phase encounter of the ICC World Cup 2019 here on Thursday (June 27).
As the league phase hits the home stretch, India will look to ensure a smooth passage into the semi-finals with yet another victory.
But it could be easier said than done against a West Indies side, which might play party poopers with nothing to lose in their remaining few games.
In fact, West Indies' unpredictability and the former India captain's repeated failure during the important second Powerplay overs leaves skipper Virat Kohli with a few points to ponder.
Dhoni's painfully slow approach against the Afghanistan yielded 28 off 52 balls and he was roundly criticised. Even the normally restrained Sachin Tendulkar questioned the approach.
"There was no positive intent," the usually reticent Tendulkar's observation on a TV channel has been spot on.

24 June in Cricket History -Sri Lanka's Headingley high 2014

The day Sri Lanka won a Test, and a series, with a ball to spare. With the penultimate ball of a gripping final day at Headingley, Shaminda Eranga dismissed James Anderson to give Sri Lanka their first series victory in England (in a series of more than a Test). England seemed to have the match in control on the second day but a collapse of 8 for 87, followed by a century from Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews and an inspired spell from seamer Dhammika Prasad left them tottering at 57 for 5, chasing 350. England were able to prolong the match thanks mainly to Moeen Ali's defiant maiden Test century, but Sri Lankan prevailed in the end. The win also meant Sri Lanka finished with a clean sweep on the tour, after victories in the T20 and one-day series.
